Training in UCP 600
Coastline Solutions in association
with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) have developed
an online training course designed to help organisations
prepare their staff for the UCP 600, the new rules for documentary credits.
Contents
This course consists of 7 hours of online instruction and
training and is aimed at experienced Letter of Credit practitioners.
The course contains 3 sections:

the UCP 500 to the UCP 600. |

Detailed Interactive Multimedia training
on the Key Issues in the new revision of the rules |

Online Assessment to test the trainee’s
knowledge at the end of the course. |
Certification
We track the progress of all trainees. The Assessment consists
of a selection of questions drawn at random from a large database
of questions. On completion the trainee receives, by post,
a personalised ICC Certificate detailing
their individual results in the Assessment.
CDCS
UpSkill 600 is registered for 8 PDUs towards
CDCS Recertification.
Quality
Gary Collyer, Chair of the UCP Revision drafting group, and
Technical Advisor to the ICC Banking Commission has written
the content, so you are assured of the quality of the training
materials.
ICC Approved
This is the only online course in this area that is ICC Approved.
Timing
This course was launched on November 1st 2006, One
week after the approval of the new UCP 600 rules.
Each trainee is allocated an individual username and password
to access the course materials.
Progress and results are available to management through an
administration console.
Duration
Once activated the trainee will have access to the materials
on an ongoing basis. There will be no expiry date on a trainee's
access.
They can use the training repeatedly in preparation for the
introduction of the rules, and continue to use it as a reference
resource on an ongoing basis after the introduction.
Consistency
Because every trainee is receiving exactly the
same message, you are assured that all of your staff are being
trained to a consistent standard. This eliminates any concerns
regarding the effective communication of the UCP 600 training
across the organisation.

UpSkill 600 is sold on a per user basis. Discounts are offered for organisations with larger numbers of trainees as follows:
Up to 10 trainees - 200 Euros per trainee
11 to 50 trainees - 175 Euros per trainee
Over 50 trainees - 150 Euros per trainee
